A hearty welcome to the official home of Huegah!
Over the past couple of years, scent has played a pivotal role in my self care practices. I remember how, at the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, my anxiety levels were at an all time high. It was during that time that I discovered scent and it's ability to ground me and calm my soul.
I recall the long soaks in rosemary and eucalyptus oils and salt baths, with bergamot and tobacco scented candle light. I recall also, how a blend of cedarwood, patchouli & tobacco brought my dad ever closer when we were not allowed to travel across provinces.
It was this very power of scent to transport me across different dimensions of space and time that intrigued me. And being a naturally curious person, I had to follow my nose and my nose brought me home, to Huegah.
In it's essence, Huegah is a collection of my most favourite blends that I now have the honour of sharing with you. Copious amounts of care and thought have gone into the creation of this offering, from the quality of the ingredients to the formulation and packaging of individual products. My aim was to give you luxury experiences in the comfort of your own home.
But beyond the aesthetics and the technicalities, it is my love that I have poured out without measure because more than the senses, Huegah is an experience of the soul. And it is my prayer that it adds as much warmth and texture to your homes as it has to mine.
